Size: 88cm x 66cm Bruce McLaren was born in Auckland, New Zealand in 1937 and died tragically whilst testing one of his cars at Goodwood circuit, England on June 2 1970. With fellow New Zealanders, Denny Hulme and Chris Amon, Bruce took on the might of the international motor racing world and triumphed with enormous success.That McLaren International continues to use his name fro their Formula One Team is a wonderful tribute and a superb acknowledgement of the New Zealand beginning of the company. As a sign of respect to Bruce, a number of his contemporaries have committed their signatures to 150 prints, providing both a very special personal touch and a lasting, authentic link to their unforgettable accomplishments. The original signatures, along with the limited edition nature of the Bruce McLaren print are important for future appreciation in value.The artist, Craig Primrose has combined both his creative and analytical skills to produce on canvas, a living memorial to Bruce — depicting the life and career of this remarkable world class motor racing driver, engineer and designer.
